Anila Quayyum Agha: Interwoven
Gallery hosts share their knowledge and insights about the featured exhibition Anila Quayyum Agha: Interwoven, which surveys two decades of Agha’s career, including sculpture, installation, embroidery, painting, and drawing. Originally from Lahore, Pakistan, and a naturalized citizen of the United States since 2005, Agha investigates the experiences of immigrants and women in her art. Interwoven comprises nearly 50 works drawn from major public and private collections to represent the conceptual throughlines of her practice—belonging, awe-inspiring wonder, and the experiences of American immigrants.
