McIlwaine Quarterly Speaker Series – AuthentiCity, An Artists View of Wichita’s Built Environment

Artist Bill Goffrier’s art documents our locally built environment. His primary achievement, however, is the creation of exceptional paintings. Raised in Wichita, first attending classes at the Wichita Art Association, then advancing to Wichita State University, followed by receiving a Masters in Fine Art from Boston University, Goffrier possesses’ a unique perspective and profound ability as a painter.

His AuthentiCity series currently includes over 350 paintings of cityscapes that are familiar but often surprising.
